June 2024 Gun Auction Executive Summary
The June 2024 auction showed strong collector interest in U.S. military rifles, European service arms, classic Colt handguns, lever-action rifles, and traditional sporting shotguns. SVT-40 rifles, M1 Garands, Luger pistols, and several Colt models were especially prominent among the curated sold results.
A cased pair of James MacNaughton 12-gauge side-by-side shotguns produced the auction’s highest firearm hammer price at $10,500. Other standout results included an STI 2011 DVC L at $2,800, an Izhevsk SVT-40 at $2,700, an AYA Model 2 28-gauge shotgun at $2,500, and a Tula SVT-40 at $2,500.
Bidder-interest rankings showed sustained attention for the Tula and Izhevsk SVT-40 rifles, Remington M1903A3, Springfield M1 Garand, Springfield M1A National Match, Colt 1911 variants, and Colt Python. By views, the MacNaughton and AYA shotguns, Springfield M1 Garand, Erfurt P08 Luger, and Winchester Model 94 were among the most frequently viewed eligible sold firearms.
