July 2024 Gun Auction Executive Summary

The July 2024 auction showed strong collector interest in U.S. military rifles, Cold War–era semi-automatic rifles, classic Colt handguns, and traditional sporting arms. M1 Garand variants were especially prominent among the most-watched and most-viewed sold firearms, alongside the HK91, SVT-40, Saiga, FAL-pattern rifles, and distinctive sporting doubles.
A W.J. Jeffery Special A Grade double rifle produced the auction’s highest firearm hammer price at $6,800, followed by an H&K HK91 at $3,600 and an R.B. Rodda & Co. .577 Express double rifle at $3,200. Other standout results included a 2.5-inch Colt Python at $2,900 and an Argentine F.M.A.P. F.S.L. at $2,500.
Bidder-interest rankings showed sustained attention for the Izhevsk SGL21 Saiga, Ruger .44 Magnum Carbine, H&R and Springfield M1 Garands, and Springfield M1A National Match. By views, the HK91, International Harvester M1 Garand, Anschutz Super-Match 1813 L, Molot VEPR, and Colt Law Enforcement Carbine were among the most frequently viewed eligible sold firearms.
