August 2025 Gun Auction Executive Summary

The August 2025 auction reflected broad collector interest in American military arms, classic Colt handguns, European sporting guns, and distinctive Browning and Winchester designs. M1 Garand and M1 Carbine variants drew strong attention, while Colt 1911-pattern pistols, Browning small-gauge shotguns, and historically styled rifles were also prominent among the curated results.
A Colt Python and Officer's ACP presentation set produced the auction's highest hammer price at $7,200, followed by a Lewman Arms MG42/59 semi-automatic rifle at $6,200. Other notable results included a Beretta AL391 Teknys 20-gauge shotgun at $2,700, an HK 300 .22 WMR rifle at $2,600, and both a Colt O.S.S. commemorative 1911 and a Browning Model 42 Grade V .410 at $2,100.
The Most Watched and Most Viewed rankings showed sustained interest in the Springfield M1 Garand, Winchester Model 1897, early Inland M1 Carbine, Colt military pistols, and MG42-pattern rifle. Several of these lots appeared across multiple rankings, indicating that pre-auction attention remained concentrated on historically significant military and collector-oriented configurations.
