The April 2024 auction was defined by military-pattern rifles, CMP-documented U.S. service arms, classic Colt handguns and several distinctive European and Japanese military firearms. M1 Garands and M1 Carbines were especially prominent in the bidder-interest rankings, while lever-action rifles and historic semi-automatic pistols also drew sustained attention.
A transferable Group Industries M16A1-pattern stainless-steel machine gun produced the highest hammer price at $42,000, followed by an FN M249S at $7,600 and an IMI Model 332 at $4,800. Other standout results included a Colt Single Action Army Peacemaker at $3,200 and a Colt Python at $2,600.
The Most Watched and Most Viewed rankings also highlighted Springfield and H&R M1 Garands, a DWM Luger, the Marlin 1895GBL, Winchester 94AE, Colt military-pattern pistols and Japanese Type 99 rifles. Several of these lots appeared across multiple rankings, indicating broad pre-auction attention across both military and sporting categories.
