Winchester U.S. M1 Carbine .30 Carbine

DESCRIPTION
Winchester U.S M1 CARBINE 30 CAL. Semi Auto Rifle, 18" Barrel, Very Good Condition, Shiny Bore, Tight Action, sn:1010341 Marked "WINCHESTER U.S. M1 CARBINE .30 CARBINE WW II / 1942." This U.S. M1 Carbine, chambered in .30 Carbine, is a military semi-automatic manufactured in 1942 by Winchester, in excellent arsenal-rework condition. It was standard U.S. officer issue during World War II. The 18-inch barrel has an excellent bore, fixed eared front and adjustable rear military sights, and 98% military parkerized finish with some wear on the bolt. The stock is in great shape. Parts count: barrel - WRA 12-42, front sight - unmarked, rear sight - JAO, barrel band assembly with bayonet lug - KI, round bolt - MEC Q, bolt carrier - SG, hammer - AMB, trigger group - C, magazine release - M, push button safety - unmarked, two-rivet hand guard - A, stock - SCB in the recess, and arsenal stamp AAW on the left side. Includes one 15-round military magazine and two BW-marked magazines in a canvas carrier marked "B.B. Inc 1943." It has a checkered steel butt plate. This is a nice early-production vintage Winchester that was reworked — a non-import WWII M1 Carbine.
