Winchester 1895 .35 WCF Lever-Action Rifle

WINCHESTER 95 .35 WCF Lever Action Rifle, 24" Barrel, Very Good Condition, Shiny Bore, Tight Action, Chambered in .35 WCF, this Winchester Model 1895 lever-action rifle wears a blued barrel and full-length forearm over a receiver that has aged to a soft gray patina, with the classic Winchester markings on the upper tang. The straight-grip walnut stock and slender forearm show honest handling wear, and the rifle retains its Buckhorn adjustable rear sight, drift-adjustable front sight, and curved steel crescent buttplate. Its traditional profile is well suited to hunting medium to large game in brushy terrain, and it stands as a handsome example of early twentieth-century American craftsmanship. Note that the barrel appears to have been shortened at some point.
