Ruger Hawkeye .256 Win Mag Single-Shot Pistol

DESCRIPTION
RUGER HAWKEYE .256 MAG. CAL. SCARCE Single Shot Pistol, 8.5" Barrel, Very Good Condition, Shiny Bore, Tight Action, This scarce single-shot pistol chambered in .256 Winchester Magnum was produced only from 1963 to 1964, with fewer than 3,100 units manufactured before the model was discontinued. Built on a modified Blackhawk frame, this example wears a deep blued finish and is fitted with a Redfield 2X long-eye-relief pistol scope mounted on an integral rail system. It retains smooth wood grips bearing the Ruger medallion, a trigger overtravel stop, and over 90% of its original bluing, a setup clearly intended for varmint hunting at extended handgun ranges. A rare and highly collectible piece of Ruger history.
