Remington Model 700 50 BP Express Muzzleloader with Scope, 28" Barrel, Excellent Condition This is black powder only. According to the owner's provenance, this is the custom Johnston Ultimate Firearm Long Range Muzzleloader (BP Xpress), stated to be the prototype Ultimate Muzzleloader originally designed by gunmaker Ken Johnston; the owner purchased this weapon directly from the weapon's designer. It uses three Hodgdon Triple 7 Magnum black powder pellets to shoot 50 caliber, 300 grain custom bullets particularly well, with accurate shots to over four hundred yards being completely realistic. Built on a Remington 700 platform with a muzzle brake, it uses primed pistol centerfire brass cases for ignition, and the ignition is very efficient. It features a textured black synthetic thumbhole stock and perforated muzzle brake, and is topped with a Leupold VX-6 (3-18x44mm) rifle scope with lighted reticle and proprietary factory ballistic turret from Leupold to match the ballistics of three 50 gr Triple 7 Magnum black powder pellets and the 50 caliber, 300 grain bullets with sabots. Includes an owner's manual, ramrod, bullet seater, T-handle for ramrod, approximately 100+ custom sabots, approximately 162 rounds of .50 cal 300 gr custom bullets, approximately 180 primed brass shells, 8 sealed/unopened boxes of Hodgdon Triple 7 Magnum black powder pellets (approximately 400 pellets total), one opened box of approximately 27 pellets, and padded hard case. All projectiles and black powder will need to be shipped separately.
