COLLECTOR NOTES
National Postal Meter was one of the less common World War II prime contractors for the U.S. M1 Carbine, giving its marked receivers particular appeal to maker-focused collectors. Correct wartime parts, stock markings, barrel dates, and originality strongly influence value, and this contractor identity likely explains the lot’s leading watch count.
