The Colt rampant pony is clearly visible on the left side of the robust steel frame, the hammer spur is deeply checkered for a positive cock, there is a P stamp on the crane, and 'Colt's Pt. Fa. Mfg. Co. Hartford, Conn. U.S.A.' is rolled along the barrel. A classic snake gun that collectors should take notice of.
